Lately, Philadelphia bands have been scoring fairly high on the indie-rock tastemaker site Pitchforkmedia.com.
Today finds Pattern Is Movement scoring a not too shabby 7.9. Earlier this month, the ‘Fork gave Philly by way of Brooklyn singer SantoGold a respectable 7.1 and the debut album of West Philly weirdness from Tickley Feather rated a 6.7 on the indie-rock richter scale.

Not too shabby, I suppose. I feel like they love kickin’ the crap out of our bands, usually.
