I always thought that PA Governor Ed Rendell seemed like a pretty cool guy but a recent Huffington Post article (posted before Hillary Clinton’s “big” win in Pennsylvania) shows the ex mayor of Philadelphia acting like a salty old baby to a small group of college kids.
On April 20, Ed Rendell appeared on Fox News with a group of college kids to talk about politics. I realize that the guy was/is pushing pretty hard for Hillary Clinton to get the nomination but he comes across like such a whiner. He says that college-aged Obama supporters “drink the Kool-Aid” of Obama’s speeches because they are too dumb to know about issues going on in the Senate (uh, actually he interrupts one of the kids so maybe he was scared that someone actually did know something - like that Obama has inspired a whole lot of younger people to register and actually turn out to vote and actually participate in our representative democracy). Jim Jones would be proud.
I hate that hes making me hate him because I don’t want to hate the only politician that Wawa ever named a limited edition sandwich wrap after.
