It’s so nice when you stumble upon a sweet zipfile of music. Seeing Red blog has a posting on Philly hardcore and punk bands from 1980-1989. It misses some bands and lists some bands as from Philly when they were actually from outside the area but let’s not quibble - it’s got tons of great old music - and some of it is pretty rare. Highlights include records by: McRad, YDI, F.O.D., The Pagan Babies, and the classic Philly comp ‘Get Off My Back.’
