The Landlords Collecting the Rent in Manayunk

March 18th, 2008 by Labuda · No Comments

There was a time when the Manayunk neighborhood in Philadelphia was actually tolerable. Main Street had a really sweet farmers market that was sort of like Reading Terminal West or something. Those days are long gone - the farmers market was knocked down to make room for bougie crap like Restoration Hardware which was in turn knocked down to make way for lord knows what.

The only good thing about those buildings being knocked down is that I get a great view of a graffiti filled building shell as a pass Manayunk on my morning commute.

Sometime earlier this year, the Landlords paid Manayunk a visit.
