It’s no secret that I’m a fan of British indie bands and so I got pretty uh, flowered up when I heard that The Charlatans (UK) were releasing their new album, You Cross My Path, as a free download on the XFM website. Supposedly, The album will then get a physical release, in the form of CD and vinyl 45 box set on May 19, 2008.
Truth be told, I haven’t really listened to anything these guys have put out since about 1999 but I’m still curious to see how this new album sounds.
Since I haven’t listened to it yet, I can’t promise that it’s good - but Alan McGee swears that it’s worthwhile so head over to XFM to download that new jawn.
