San Francisco fun vampires, you need to check out an art exhibit for us. Our Irak-y pal Tim Artz dropped us a line to let us know that he and the rest of the Dustward have an art show opening TONIGHT at San Francisco’s Hamburger Eyes Epicenter.
THE DUSTWARD
Opening January 10th 2008
Hamburger Eyes Epicenter
Featuring art from:
Timothy Walkiewicz, Dan Murphy, Stefan Simikich, Jesse Geller, Kunle Martins, Tim Badalucco, Emily Riedman-Walkiewicz, Rebekah Maysles, Sergei Trudnowski and Mark Cross
Artwork showcased will include paintings, signage, black and white and color photographic prints, mounted digital illustration, collage, screen-printing, vinyl work, projected video, t-shirts, posters, and zines. The artists will also collaborate on a site-specific group installation.
The Dustward is a collective of notable artists emerging from the underground of art, publishing, graffiti, photography, bicycle messenger culture, skateboarding, design and urban music scenes.
This show looks like it’s going to be pretty epic. Aside from the government names listed you can AKA a lot of these people. Let’s do that, shall we?
I’ll bust out a few names and it’s your job to match the name you see on the wall with the actual human government jawn. Graffiti trainspotter nerd types, this show features EARSNOT, SIMA, GKAE MSK, ARTZ, NEMEL and NOPE (and maybe a few others).
Just go. It’s going to be great. Send us some flicks of the artwork at contribute @ funvampires.com.
