Come in from the cold to get some healthy doses of Philadelphia brand hip-hop and hardcore punk. The weekend is going to be so fun.

Oh my god! The White T’s White Belt’s dudes have completely outdone themselves because tonights party at the Arts Garage features a live performance from Philadelphia’s own Freeway!! Don’t show up til midnight but don’t show up late either because this jawn is gonna be packed and you want to make sure that you get in. Free vodka and PBR or you can BYOB. $15.
SATURDAY

Earlier this week I let it be known that Paint It Black have a new record coming out and, as such, they are doing a weekend of record release shows. That madness starts with a hardcore classic - the Saturday matinee at the First Unitarian Church. This one features Paint It Black, World Inferno Friendship Society, The Marked Men (yes!!), Dustheads, and Amateur Party. As an added bonus, everyone who comes to the show will receive a free copy of the new Paint It Black cd New Lexicon a month and a half before it’s released to stores! All Ages. 3pm. $12. Buy a ticket in advance.
Continue the punk rock raging at Mill Creek Tavern for the the Paint It Black Afterparty with Pissed Jeans, The Marked Men (again? yes!!!), The Shemps, and a secret fun band to be announced at the show. As a party rockin’ added bonus, the Mill Creek will have ridiculously cheap drink specials and guest DJs Jeff Ziga, DJ R5000 (that’s Sean Agnew, stupid.), Mike McKee and Me (that’s Labuda, stupid.) spinning whatever the heck that we want. If you ever needed an excuse to go to West Philly - well, this is it - this show is going to be crazy fun. 9pm. $7. No advance tickets.
SUNDAY
Paint It Black are back at the First Unitarian Church only this time they are playing with - The Hope Conspiracy, Have Heart, Damnation A.D., Crime In Stereo, and Let Down. Continuing the bonus material theme - everyone who comes to this show will receive a free copy of the new Paint It Black Goliath 7″. This record is a one-sided seven inch with a silk screened b-side containing a song that is exclusive to this release and the record will only be available at this show! Seriously! 6:30 PM All Ages. $12. Buy a ticket in advance.
After the show, run home and pray to god that your good friend TiVo recorded Episode 1 of the final season of The Wire.
