You’re a goddamned idiot but boy do we have a handbag for you.

Fashion store Zara has a bit of egg on their faces - they were selling handbags with swastikas on them. Yeah, yeah, we know - the swastika is an ancient religious symbol that originally was a sign of peace or some shit but, come on, what idiot in 2k7 sports a swazi in the Western world and doesn’t expect to get shit for it?
A Zara spokesman said: We did not realise Swastikas appeared on some of these bags…Of course we apologise to anyone who was offended by the bag, and we will be withdrawing it from all our stores. But they didn’t notice the swastikas until a customer bought one of the bags, noticed, and then returned it. Wild!

I heard that the bags were made in this factory:

which is located just outside of this lovely forest

and this lovely corn field

(Actually, those pics are: a U.S. Navy building! - a forest in Germany - and a corn field in New Jersey. Wacky!)

there are tons of houses in SE PA with swazis on them. all of them were built many decades before WWII. India and China weren’t the only people that used them as sacred images. a lot of other people used them as good luck.
