I kinda hate jacking from BCO but if I don’t then whatever…According to a post Mr. Ardmore made on BCO, the critically acclaimed Canadian indiepop band Stars asked for an additional security detail for their upcoming Philly show - specifically because of the number of homicides in Philadelphia this year! SA sez to Stars “I am sure there have been multiple murders in almost every police district where the venue is located for all of your tour stops. I don’t think any North Philadelphia drug dealers are going to be attending the show (despite the recent acclaim – perhaps they were influenced by the Pitchfork review) and I don’t think any drug dealers themselves are hunting STARS down unless they made some purchases and never paid for them last year.”
