Since things have slowed down here a bit, I figured there’s no better time than the present to get all livejournal/xanga up in this bitch. So recently this Fun Vampire has watching a British show called Totally Frank, on some channel that I think is named Family Room HD. The show is about a female band named Frank, who play some pretty terrible songs. In addition to the shitty songs, the acting is kinda shitty too. And there’s this annoying zoom-in camera work as well. So I know what all 50,000 (actual statistic) of you who read this blog are thinking, why in the world would I watch such a crap show?

This is why. Her name is Lauren Blake and she plays lead singer Tasha on the show. According to Wikipedia, she is 24 years old and like myself, is a Leo. Unfortunately, that is all the information I could dredge up…no phone number, home address, bra size, etc. Did I mention the show is broadcast in HD? Lauren, you got me boi-oi-oingin’ like rubber bands at the dopeman’s stash house.

To be totally honest, sitting through a cheesy show to check out some chick is nothing new to me. Keeping it across the pond, I used to do the same thing in college with another British show about a musical group, S Club 7. I was into both Tina and Rachel on that show. No offense Jo and Hannah, but I’m just not really that into blondes. Man, did I have to endure some brutal music on that show…but totally worth it.

I’ve also been known to sit through some episodes of the Gilmore Girls to check in with my girl Rory, played by Alexis Bledel. Quite possibly the best set of eyes in color TV history. Sebastian Bach was sometimes on that show too, which was kinda far out, but that’s totally off subject. Getting back to Alexis, I was pretty fucking stoked when she was in Sin City. I’m also looking forward to her next role…in my dreams tonight.

So I’m on the wrong side of my 20s now and it seems a bit juvenile to watch crap shows for hot chicks, but in this world of pr0n and DPs and DVDAs and ATM and BBWs and BDSM and FTMs and MILFs and JAV, et al…sometimes it’s nice to have an old-fashioned celebrity crush. Will I ever get over this? Maybe. But what movie did I borrow from the library just today? I Think I Love My Wife, starring Kerry Washington and her DSLs. I know it’s gonna be terrible and I’m gonna love every minute of it.
