Alexander Vinokourov has been found guilty of preliminary doping with a blood transfusion after his win on Saturday’s time trial. His team has quit the tour with 2 general classification top places Andreas Kloden and Audrey Kashechkin in places 5 and 8 respectively. Vino who has had a rough tour will probably never be able to regain respect in the cycling world. I, like many other fans are going to wait for the B sample. It is a real shame that this had to happen to such a rider. A strong man who came in the top 10 in the 2005 tour while the rest of his team worked for Jan Ullrich. The state of cycling is not really falling apart. The blood transfusion is the most searched out method of doping so why would Vino stoop to such a level?!?!?
We’ll wait and watch the rest of the tour and see what happens. Only one more week left

for the record i don’t trust the Kazakhs either. Their gov’t is more openly corrupt than ours. And they have their fingers in the team.
