Every one’s favorite vocal Philadelphian racist, (you need to see his showcase of motorcycles covered in Confederate flags, which is extra odd since he’s a Yankee!) Joey Vento is featured currently on the front page of BBC News. Señor Joey, the owner of Geno’s Steaks is once again in the limelight due to the massive failure of Our Lord and Savior GW Bush’s immigration bill. It’s actually a pretty lame article considering they get all kinds of facts wrong about da naybahood (like calling the Italian Market, ‘little Italy’) and Herr Vento only has a few boring comments like:“I’m 68,” he reminded me, looking fighting fit in a black T-shirt, with a silver chain around his neck, “and I’ve been up since three in the morning. Don’t tell me Americans won’t do the tough jobs.” If only he could get his workers to do the tough job of cleaning up the 8 billion Geno’s steaks wrappers, and cups that litter my neighborhood and building a rest room so that his customers could take a leak instead of pissing on my wall.
