The programming nerds over at Google apparently have a solid sense of humor. When plotting directions from New York to Sweden, Google Maps offers up Step 14. “Swim Across The Atlantic Ocean”. The cartographers at Google estimate a distance of 3,462 miles for this swim, the equivalent of 55,738 laps in an Olympic sized pool. I think that more impressive than accomplishing this swim would be to actually have a set of testicles upon arriving in Europe. The duration of time spent in the Atlantic would surely amount to the worst case of shrinkage/prunage in the history of man. Let’s see Michael Phelps try to tackle this feat.
I just got in from NY…and boy are my arms and legs tired.
