My friend Jay and i rose early from our tent on a little farm entry road to battle the brutal heat. (it was the summer of the nasty heatwave) While admiring the lovely sunrise i noticed the sun looked very odd. Alas! it was a solar eclipse. Quite a nice surprise on our second day in Italy.
