Not to be outdone by a rival gum company, Trident White has introduced a new flavor that is similar in theme to a story that we’d brought you previously.
Wrigley’s Orbit recently graced us with Mint Mojito flavored gum . Of course, it makes ABSOLUTE PERFECT SENSE to have Trident White counter with their version of an alcoholic island paradise beverage condensed into an easy to chew candy format…Cool Colada!
Honestly, who wouldn’t want to chew bubblegum that tastes like the most famous mixed drink to come out of Puerto Rico?
How does this flavor stack up against Mint Mojito??
Ehhhhh, not so good. Both gums tend to lose their flavor quickly. Cool Colada loses points for being a bit too pedestrian. Pina Colada flavor is old news! They could have come with some ridiculous Mai Tai or Singapore Sling flavor. And, let’s face it, Mint Mojito is about a million times weirder than Cool Colada.
Still, if I’m ever feeling like I need a vacation and the local Wawa is out of Mint Mojito, you can bet that I’ll grab a pack of Trident White’s Cool Colada and pretend that I’m hanging out at the Tiki Bar in Bora Bora or something.

hopefully gum companies will start sending you gum to test and review.
i really wish the swell factory was around. we could send you there for a tour and on the scene report.
